Amber Jewellery Safety and Care
Baby J’s bracelets, anklets and necklaces are especially designed to be worn by children and adults, they have a tight twist clasp and a safety knot between every bead so it is hard for them to break. In the event of a breakage the knotted string will prevent the beads scattering.
Please note the following when your child is wearing a Baby J's anklet or necklace:
Anklets and necklaces are not for chewing. They are to be worn under clothing and to be in contact with the skin.
It is recommended that the anklet or necklace is removed at night time and children must not be left unattended when wearing it.
When not in use keep the anklet or necklace out of reach of young children.
Amber anklets and necklaces are not a toy but a piece of jewellery, due to small parts it can pose a choking hazard therefore they should be worn under adult supervision.
Before allowing your child to wear any Baby J's amber jewellery please ensure it is fully intact and not broken. Check the amber regularly for signs of cracks and damage. Please do not use the anklet or necklace if it appears to be damaged or faulty.
Remove your amber jewellery before bathing, showering or swimming, regular exposure to water will cause damage to the silk thread, therefore resulting breakage. Breakage due to water exposure is not covered by our 6 month guarantee.
Keep your jewellery clean by wiping with a soft cloth.
EU Toy safety regulations EN-71-1 bracelets, anklets and necklaces are not suitable for children under 36 months.
Teether, Rattles & Chewelry Safety and Care
Our range of teething products are lovingly handmade using soft silicone beads, untreated natural beech wood and cotton crochet beads. Each item is designed with your child’s safety in mind.
Made from FDA approved, food-grade silicone
Odourless and Tasteless
In compliance with FDA, CPSIA, CSPC, ASTM F963, EN71 2014 (Parts 1,2 and 3) and are CE tested.
Baby J's teether’s have been independently tested by an approved UK Testing House to ensure they comply with the European Safety Standards, BS EN71 Parts 1, 2 & 3
Our teething rattles are created using waxed cotton cord, each teether is double strung, meaning you will find two cords running through the core of your teether. For extra security both pieces of cord are independently tied 3 times using a secure knot. In the unlikely event of one string breaking all beads will still be held together by the second string. These items however must only ever be used UNDER DIRECT ADULT SUPERVISION.
Although all products are inspected prior to dispatch it is important to check your product on arrival to ensure it is fully intact and safe to use. Please do not use if it appears to be damaged or faulty.
Inspect your product on a regular basis for signs of wear and tear. Dispose of the item if it appears damaged.
To keep clean use warm water and allow to air dry or wipe clean with a Milton antibacterial wipe. It is recommended that you do this prior to use.
The wooden teether and beads can be treated with organic coconut oil to maintain condition and to prevent cracks and damage.
Silicone only teether’s can be placed in the freezer for extra soothing effects.
Adult supervision is required when using our products and we disclaim for any liability caused by improper use or the failure to correctly supervise your child using these products.
